Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity where we are currently seeking an experienced Part Exchange Coordinator for a leading developer.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the company’s Part Exchange function, from Application to Handover. You will also help market the Part Exchange Properties.

You will be reporting directly into the Sales and Marketing Director and it is key that you have a good knowledge of the Part Exchange industry as well as being self – motivated, organised and have a high level of and have a passion for good customer service.

 

Main Duties:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Agents and have an expert knowledge on the second hand property market.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with all Sales Teams to ensure the whole process runs smoothly and efficiently .
  • Create Part Exchange offer packs for the Sales Managers and order searches, instruct Gas/Electric/EPC and Home Buyers for new buy in properties.
  • Visit Part Exchange properties within 7 days of reservation.
  • Complete two weekly inspections of all empty properties to check gardens, cleanliness, and heating.
  • Perform inspections on all Part Exchange Properties as and when required.
  • Gather feedback and records of viewings.
  • Keep all admin tasks up to date.
  • Deputise for the Part Exchange Manager during Holidays and Sickness.
  • Keep up to date with any changes within the Part Exchange market.
  • Complete final inspections and release C&T retentions. Instruct agents to Market.
  • Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the groups Health and Safety Policy in order to ensure a safe working environment.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Up to date knowledge of the Sales Process from Reservation to Legal Completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of; GDPR implications and The Consumer Code for House Builders.
  • Excellent customer service Skills and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate on IT systems.
