New Homes Sales Negotiators – Andover – OTE £45k

A fantastic opportunity is currently available for experienced New Homes Sales Professionals to join one of the largest British housebuilding companies as an on-site Sales Negotiator in the Andover area – across a wide range of new launches.  Do not miss this opportunity!

Our Client 5* Builder client has a long history of building new homes and is firmly established as a leading developer with a passion for not just building homes, but for providing superior customer service.

The Sales Negotiator position will be located in a Sales office on a new build site near Andover which is part of a major regeneration scheme.

Position Responsibilities:                                                                                                       

  • You will have responsibility for the sales operation and associated administration / customer management of a new homes development
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager, the negotiator would help to develop the business through selling new homes and assisting sales as necessary through to a successful completion.
  • Ensuring a professional, friendly, helpful, honest and efficient attitude is maintained at all times when dealing with both the public & your construction colleagues - face to face and over the telephone.
  • Meeting & greeting, showing the clients around show homes, responding to queries via e-mail & telephone, building the client base in this area by seeking referrals
  • Liaising with solicitors & financial advisors to ensure swift sales progressions
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients following sales – assisting with post-sales enquiries
  • Reaching and exceeding sales targets set by the company
  • Selling options and upgrade items to the new home purchaser

Person specification:

  • Proven experience within a New Homes sales environment is absolutely essential. This experience will preferably be gained within one of the main corporate developers. Estate agents with experience within a Land & New Homes department would also be considered. If you have no direct new homes experience as described above please do not apply.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • An interest in sales process
  • The ability to multi-task is essential
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills are preferable, although IT training will be provided

In return, our client offers the Sales negotiator an attractive package: Competitive salary & commissions with an achievable OTE of £45k. Site open 10am till 5pm 7 days per week. Working 5 days per week on a rota to include weekends.

Qualifications
The applicant must:
  • have previous New Homes Sales Experience gained with a developer or direct experience of property sales within a Land & Homes Department of an Estate Agency.
  • be prepared to work every weekend (2 days off during the week) working on a rota
  • have a full clean driving licence and their own transport

  • Package includes fuel allowance (for daily travel past 9 miles) - OTE of approximately £45k
